Glonghui, Feb. 27丨Novartis Group (01360.HK) announced that in its interim results for the six months ended December 31, 2023, the Group has recorded revenue of about HK$6 million, a decrease of about 80.2% compared with about HK$30.4 million in the same period last year. Operating losses during the reporting period were approximately HK$4.9 million, a decrease of about 98.4% compared with operating losses of approximately HK$316 million in the same period last year. The net loss for the reporting period was approximately HK$7.2 million, down about 97.8% from the net loss of approximately HK$329.6 million in the same period last year. The decrease in net loss was mainly due to confirmed impairment loss of goodwill of approximately HK$128.6 million during the same period last year and impairment loss (after deduction) of approximately HK$195 million under the expected credit loss model.
