Gelonghui, Feb. 23 | TAI PING CARPET (00146.HK) announced that for the six months ended December 31, 2023, the company's consolidated turnover was approximately HK$306 million, an increase of 16% over the previous year. Since commercial activity resumed after the end of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, the trade situation has gradually improved. Thanks to a combination of factors such as a return to normal freight costs, an advantageous sales mix, and increased sales volume leading to greater production scale efficiency, gross margin increased by 5% to 62%. The Group's profit attributable to the company's equity holders increased significantly to approximately HK$22 million compared to the approximately HK$4 million recorded in the same period last year.
