A UNIT of AwanBiru Technology Bhd (Awantec) has entered into a service agreement with RedtoneEngineering & Network Services Sdn Bhd valued at RM 294.27 million.

In an exchange filing, Awantech said its wholly owned subsidiary Awan Biru System Sdn Bhd has entered into the agreement with Redtone for just under five years until Nov 30, 2028.

Awantec's subsidiary will be responsible for providing Cloud computing solutions and services which include products such as Google Workspace Enterprise and Google Cloud platform for the government's unified communication and collaboration project, managed by Redtone known as, MyGovUC3.0.

Awantech shares ended the day at 37.5 sen, up 3 sen from the day before, valuing the company at RM292 million.
