According to the Zhitong Finance App, Gaomei Group (08371) announced results for the nine months ended December 31, 2023, with revenue of HK$757 million, up 43.6% year on year; profit attributable to company owners was HK$71.69 million, up 43% year on year; basic profit per share was 18.9 HK cents.

The increase in revenue during the period was due to the fact that these restaurants opened in FY2023 have been in operation for nine months; new restaurants that opened in the third quarter of FY2024; the ban on dine-in after 6 p.m., enforced by the Hong Kong Government before April 20, 2022; and the increase in per capita consumption.
