According to the news, Australian Energy Construction issued a profit notice yesterday. It is expected to make a profit of about MOP 8 million to MOP 11 million for the year ended 31 December 2023, while profit for the year ended 31 December 2022 is about MOP 9.2 million. The decline in performance was mainly due to a customer's failure to confirm an impairment loss of approximately MOP 23 million due to failure to pay on the due date; and an unexpected delay in certification of contract works and engineering change orders that had almost been completed for a hotel, and construction business revenue and profit were drastically reduced.
