Varia Bags RM95m Contract for Klang River Flood Mitigation Project

Varia Berhad, formerly Stella Holdings Bhd, has secured a RM94.86 million contract as a subcontractor for the Klang River flood mitigation project in Shah Alam, Selangor.

The project, spanning 60 months from Feb 1, 2024, to Jan 31, 2029, is expected to positively impact Varia's earnings within the contract duration without affecting the group's share capital and structure.

Its MD Datuk Benson Lau noted the award's significance in promoting sustainable development, showcasing technical excellence, and reflecting the company's commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
