This is not only China's FAW's first major model landing case, but also the first large-scale model BI application in the automotive industry.

The application can receive natural language queries and automatically generate analysis charts based on enterprise data. Currently, it can achieve an accuracy rate of nearly 90%. It is worth mentioning that compared to traditional BI (Business Intelligence) “fixed Q&A”, it can achieve any combination of questions and answers.

When a user enters a problem, the big model will identify problem intent, analyze decision variables, generate SQL data query statements, match real-time enterprise data, and automatically generate decision plans.

For example, when asked “Why is the production of a certain model falling short of expectations?” From time to time, the future big model can first compare the expected output with the actual output, and then calculate the difference, not only analyze explicit variables, such as abnormal production stops for 20 minutes due to equipment, etc., abnormal quality of certain types of parts, etc., but also analyze all variables involved, such as fluctuations in raw material supply, energy consumption, and supply stability. By investigating the data, the most relevant causes are finally identified and visual reports are generated.

Men Xin, vice president of China's FAW Hongqi Brand Operation Committee, said, “The big model is the cornerstone of facing future production relationships. We need to redo the GPT model for all FAW Group businesses. In the future, we will also export the FAW Group's digital transformation methodology and tool platform to provide SaaS services to the industry.”

Based on exploration of business scenarios such as GPT-BI, China FAW will also use data assets to create large vertical models for various fields such as R&D, manufacturing, and after-sales service on the “Alibaba Cloud Bailian” one-stop big model application development platform, so that the big model can be effective in various aspects such as production and sales.

Li Qiang, vice president of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence and general manager of the automotive energy industry, said, “To be the most open cloud in the AI era, Alibaba Cloud has provided computing power support for 80% of the country's technology companies and half of the largest model companies. In the automotive sector, Alibaba Cloud will promote the implementation of AI in specific application scenarios in the industry based on the Tongyi Big Model.”
