Artroniq Shares Plunge 54% to 52-week Low, Responded to UMA Query

The shares of Artroniq Bhd tumbled further for the third straight day, dropping 27 sen or 54.6% to 22.5 sen at lunch break today. It was the most actively traded in the first half of the day, with more than 257 million shares exchanging hands.

The counter received an unusual market activity (UMA) query yesterday following a sharp fall in its share price from 79.5 sen to 49.5 sen. . In response, the ICT services and products provider said it was unaware of any corporate development, rumour, report or explanation that may have accounted for the trading activity.

"However, the company and its subsidiaries have been continuously on the lookout for opportunities to strengthen its financial position," it said.

Artroniq's top shareholders are Yeoh Guan Fook with a 4.96% stake, Proven Venture Capital PLT (4.01%) and Pua Kong Hoi (3.87%). It has a market capitalisation of RM93.8 million.
