According to the Zhitong Finance App, Deyi Holdings (09900) issued an announcement. The board of directors declared a special dividend of HK$0.135 per common share to the company's shareholders through a board resolution passed on January 17, 2024. The special dividend will be paid on or around February 6, 2024 (Tuesday) to shareholders registered on the company's shareholder register at the end of business hours on February 1, 2024 (Thursday).

The board of directors believes that the company's current financial situation and profit are sufficient to prove that it is reasonable to pay a special dividend. After considering various factors such as the company's cash flow, the board of directors believes that it is appropriate to declare and pay a special dividend from the company's share premium account in accordance with section 155 (c) of the company's articles of association and Cayman Islands law.

Based on the total number of shares issued at the date of this announcement, the total amount of the special dividend will be approximately HK$50.2 million. According to the company's audited consolidated financial statements, the share premium account amount was approximately HK$133 million on March 31, 2023. After payment of the special dividend, the balance of the share premium account will be approximately HK$82.312 million.
