Rohas Tecnic Bags RM200m RTS Link Project in Johor

Rohas Tecnic Bhd (RTB) wholly-owned subsidiary, Rohas-Euco Industries Bhd – Sediabena Builders Sdn Bhd Consortium, has signed a letter of acceptance from Malaysia Rapid Transit System Sdn Bhd (MRTS) for the construction and completion of Package 8, involving the façade of Bukit Chagar Station for the Rapid Transit System Link Johor Bahru – Singapore Project (RTS Link Project).

The contract sum amounts to RM199.84 million, with an anticipated completion date set for May 31, 2025.

The consortium, formed by REI and SBSB, was created specifically for bidding on and executing the RTS Link Project - Package 8.

Upon project award, a detailed joint venture agreement will be established, with a proposed equity ratio of 70% for REI and 30% for SBSB.

The project is anticipated to positively contribute to the earnings of the RTB Group for the financial years ending December 31, 2024 and 2025.

This is expected to result in a positive financial impact on earnings per share and net assets per share of the RTB Group.
