Compared with the net profit recorded for the year ending December 31, 2017 (same unit below), the Group will record a net loss of about 4 billion yuan to 5 billion yuan for the year ending 31 December 2018. Compared with the net profit recorded in the six months ending June 30, 2018, the Group will record a net loss of about 500 million yuan to 1 billion yuan for the six months ending June 30, 2019.

According to Bank of Jinzhou, the net loss expected to be recorded for the year ended December 31, 2018 and the six months ending June 30, 2019 is mainly due to (among others) the Bank's response to the decline in asset quality and the increase in unsettled balances of non-performing assets, and the Bank's implementation of IFRS 9, adopting an expected loss model to increase financial asset impairment preparations to enhance the Bank's risk resilience.
