Risk warning

An option is a contract that gives the holder the right to buy or sell an asset at a fixed price on or at any time before a specific date, but with no obligation. The price of an option is affected by a number of factors, including the current price of the underlying asset, strike price, expiration time, and implied volatility.

Implicit volatility reflects the market's expectations of fluctuations in options over a period of time to come. It is data inverted from the options BS pricing model, and is generally regarded as an indicator of market sentiment. When investors anticipate greater volatility, they may be more willing to pay higher prices for options to help hedge risk, leading to higher implied volatility.

Traders and investors use implied volatility to assess the attractiveness of option prices, identify potential mispricing, and manage risk exposure.
