Donghai Securities pointed out that according to estimates, 10MW photovoltaics can produce 10 cubic meters of hydrogen per hour, and a 25-square-kilometer photovoltaic array can produce 1 million tons of hydrogen a year. In places with good lighting, the cost of photovoltaic power generation for hydrogen production is about 1.05 cents per cent of electricity, which is significantly lower than the current electricity cost of hydrogen production. With the continuous increase in the installed capacity of photovoltaics and continuous breakthroughs in hydrogen production technology from electrolyzed water, photovoltaic hydrogen production is one of the important ways to reduce the cost of hydrogen production. In addition, the hydrogen market for superimposed terminals continues to expand, and demand for hydrogen in heavy trucks, ships, commercial vehicles, cogeneration, industrial metallurgy, etc. continues to rise.
