Aoya Co., Ltd. announced this afternoon that Shenzhen Ultron Engine Data Service Co., Ltd. (“Ultron Engine”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, and the supplier Shenzhen Runxin Supply Chain Co., Ltd. (“Runxin Supply Chain”) signed a “Computing Power Server Procurement Contract” to purchase 128 high-performance computing servers with built-in Nvidia GPU chips and supporting software and hardware, with a contract amount of 435 million yuan.
According to the above contract amount, a server operator told the Financial Services Association reporter that the video card model involved in Aoya's current purchase of computing power servers should be Nvidia H800.
According to the announcement, the contract is to be signed in Shenzhen on December 18, and the contract period ends on December 31, 2024. The first batch of at least 64 servers should be delivered before June 30, 2024.
The company announced simultaneously today that according to business and strategic development needs, the company has recently set up Ultron Engine. It is reported that Ultron Engine was founded on December 11 and will engage in related software and hardware services such as artificial intelligence applications, data processing and storage support, and digital technology services, etc., including but not limited to computing power support, AI technology application, and research and development. The procurement of servers this time will mainly be used for personal use and external leasing. This move may make Oya shares a computing power leasing concept stock that is receiving a lot of attention in the secondary market.
Notably, a number of industry insiders recently told the reporter that at present, Nvidia graphics cards can be called “hard to find in one card,” but Aoya Co., Ltd. set up subsidiaries and found suppliers at this time to deploy computing power across borders. According to Tianyan Research, Runxin Supply Chain was established in March 2011 with a registered capital of 40 million yuan. It is 100% owned by Shenzhen Runxin Group Co., Ltd. It once proposed two-wheel drive+dual engine as the development pattern, that is, creative design+parent-child cultural tourism two-wheel drive, and AIGC+IP dual engine.
