Zhitong Finance App learned that on the evening of December 7, California time, US, Lightspeed LA, a photonics studio owned by Tencent (00700), released a teaser for the new game “Last Sentinel (Last Sentinel)” on TGA, which is seen as an attempt for Tencent to enter the console market. The game is set in the future of Tokyo, and the platform and release date have yet to be announced.
Notably, Lightspeed LA is headed by former Rockstar developer Steve Martin (Steve Martin), who has participated in the development of famous games such as “GTA5” and “Red Dead Redemption 2: Redemption”. The development team also includes veterans of “The Last Survivors” and “Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order.”
