According to the Zhitong Finance App, Rongtai Group (01172) announced interim results for the six months ended September 30, 2023, with revenue of HK$176 million, up 22% year on year; losses attributable to company owners of about HK$54 million, a year-on-year decrease of 69%; loss per share of HK$0.94 cents.

According to reports, the Group's loss reduction was mainly due to the reduction in net losses after tax in the property development business to about HK$42 million (2022: net loss after tax of about HK$158 million) due to a reduction in property inventory impairment provisions made for property development projects in Zigong City on September 30, 2023.
