According to the Zhitong Finance App, Huihan Holdings (00214) announced that the group expects to obtain losses attributable to shareholders of HK$580 million to HK$650 million for the six months ending September 30, 2023, compared to a loss of HK$37 million for the same period in 2022.

According to the announcement, the increase in losses is mainly due to an increase in expected credit losses from debt securities investments; a decrease in interest income from financial investments; and the higher profit attributable to joint venture real estate development projects last year.
