Glonghui November 23 | On November 22, local time, Stellantis (Stellantis) announced on its official website that the company and Dongfeng Motor (Hong Kong) International Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd., have confirmed that the two parties have executed a deal. Stellantis has bought back 50 million shares of common stock from Dongfeng (1.58% of Stellantis's share capital before cancellation) for a total consideration of 934 million euros. Stellantis plans to write off these shares. Dongfeng will retain 49.2 million common shares, accounting for 1.58% of Stellantis's share capital after cancellation. The stock repurchase framework agreed upon by the two parties remains in effect. Stellantis said the share repurchase deal with Dongfeng will not affect its 1.5 billion euro open market share repurchase plan announced on February 22, 2023, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
