According to the Zhitong Finance App, Wanlida (08482) announced interim results for the six months ended September 30, 2023, with a profit of HK$83.88 million, a year-on-year decrease of 38.55%; a net loss of HK$14.188 million, an increase of 27.34% over the previous year; and a loss of HK1.32 cents per share.

According to the announcement, losses were mainly affected by the following: a decline in turnover due to a slower than expected recovery of global trade after the COVID-19 pandemic and a decrease in demand for cargo space due to the global economic recession; an increase in warehousing costs; and an increase in sales and marketing expenses and administrative expenses compared to previous periods.
