According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Life Group (08296) announced its results for the nine months ended September 30, 2023. The group obtained revenue of RMB 55.38 million (same unit below), a year-on-year decrease of 2.78%; the company owners accounted for a loss of 6.429 million yuan, an increase of 37.9% over the previous year; and a loss of 0.84 points per share.

According to the announcement, the decline in revenue was mainly due to the normalization of demand for the Group's products, which led to a decrease of about $4,821 million in revenue from providing funeral, cremation and cemetery services in China, but was offset by an increase of about $3,046 million in revenue from sales of high-end biotech instruments and other electronic products in Hong Kong after the successful delivery and installation of high-end biotech instruments during this period.
