ChatGPT manufacturer OpenAI is expected to announce product improvements at the first developer conference to be held next Monday (November 6), making its artificial intelligence model cheaper and more powerful. The one-day event was held in a deserted area near San Francisco City Hall and attracted hundreds of developers from around the world.

The conference marks OpenAI's ambition to disrupt consumer expectations and become a provider of popular developer platforms. The company's CEO, Sam Altman, promised attendees that “some great new stuff” will be launched.

According to information, after years of obscurity, OpenAI released ChatGPT in November last year, starting a boom in generative artificial intelligence. With billions of dollars of support from Microsoft, OpenAI has become the default version of generative artificial intelligence for many, helping users generate term papers, contracts, travel itineraries, and even entire novels.

In addition to announcing new products, the company may also fine-tune the capabilities of its most advanced artificial intelligence model, GPT-4. Earlier, the company said the model would be launched in the fall.

Sources familiar with Altman's ideas say making OpenAI an integral part of other companies' app development is one of its most important strategic goals.

Meanwhile, Musk added, “In some important ways, it's the best (model) that currently exists.” According to xAI's official website, the company says its goal is to understand the nature of the universe. The company's team comes from OpenAI, DeepMind, and other top AI research firms.
