According to a research report published by Nomura, Sunyu Optics' shipments in November fell slightly from month to month. The bank said it was mainly due to the decline in shipments of mainland mobile phones such as Oppo and Vivo, but it believes that the situation for second-tier mobile phone equipment manufacturers will be worse than Shunyu's. The bank believes that Sunyu can achieve this year's shipping target. It is expected that mobile phone lens shipments will increase 60% year on year, higher than Sunyu's 45-50% year-on-year increase; the year-on-year increase of vehicle lenses will reach 35% to 40% of the guideline close to high-end completion; and mobile phone lens module shipments will increase 20% to 25% year over year.

However, the bank said it is still cautious about overall demand in the mainland mobile phone market, maintaining the “neutral” rating of Sunyu Optics, with a target price of HK$110.
