According to Zhitong Financial App, Enjie Co., Ltd. (002812.SZ) announced that the company intends to use its own and self-funded funds to acquire 3.25% of the shares and 1.53% of the shares of Shanghai Enjie New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (“Shanghai Enjie”) held by Ms. Yan Ma and Mr. Alex Cheng. The total amount of this transaction was 2,613 billion yuan. After the transaction is completed, the company will hold 100% of Shanghai Enjie's shares.
According to the announcement, Shanghai Enjie is mainly engaged in R&D, production and sales of lithium battery separators. Shanghai Enjie products include base films and coating films. Currently, lithium battery separators produced by Shanghai Enjie are mainly used in the fields of power batteries, consumer batteries, and energy storage.
After the transaction is completed, Shanghai Enjie will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, which is conducive to increasing the rights and interests of listed companies, reducing financial support and other related transactions, improving the efficiency of management decision-making, and further supporting and promoting the development of the company's core business.
