China Merchants BankNet profit for the first half of the year was 39.3 billion yuan, an increase of 11.43% over the previous year; net interest income of 70,896 billion yuan, an increase of 507% over the previous year; and realized net non-interest income of 42.136 billion yuan, a decrease of 8.23% over the previous year. The average return on assets (ROAA) attributable to the Bank's shareholders after annualization and the average return on net assets (ROAE) attributable to the Bank's shareholders were 1.29% and 19.11%, respectively, up 0.01 and 0.04 percentage points from the previous year.
