Zhitong Financial APP has learned that Hang Seng Index has announced that it will update the stock selection rules and change the name of the Hang Seng AH Index Series.

Among them, the updated rules for the selection of constituent stocks will take effect immediately (the updated method is applicable to the next review of index constituent stocks). The updated method of calculation is that all companies listed in both A shares and H shares (AH) will be included as constituent shares unless: a) the company's shares are not eligible for trading through interconnection; or b) the company's A shares or H shares have been below the minimum daily turnover requirement over the past six months (A shares: RMB 20 million; H shares: HK $20 million).

In addition, Hang Seng Index also changed "Hang Seng AH shares An Index" to "Hang Seng AH shares An Index"; "Hang Seng AH shares An Index" to "Hang Seng Shanghai Shenzhen Hong Kong Stock Connect AH shares An Index"; "Hang Seng AH shares H Index" to "Hang Seng Shanghai Shenzhen Hong Kong Stock Connect AH shares H Index"; "Hang Seng AH share Premium Index" to "Hang Seng Shanghai Shenzhen Hong Kong Stock Connect AH share Premium Index" "Hang Seng AH stock smart index" changed to "Hang Seng Shanghai-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect AH stock smart index".
