According to Zhitong Financial App, Linian International (09918) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2023. The company's realized revenue decreased 0.2% year on year to HK$547 million. Shareholders should account for a loss of HK$1,552 million, while shareholders should account for a profit of HK$3.504 million for the same period last year; a loss of HK$1.55 per share.

According to the announcement, the Group's earnings were lower than the earnings for the second half of 2022, mainly due to the slump in the global economy and soaring interest rates in the first half of 2023, which led to a decline in consumer demand and an increase in operating costs.
