Gelonghui August 30th 丨Associated Press Group (01200.HK) announced that for the six months ended June 30, 2023, the Group recorded revenue of approximately HK$2.354 billion, an increase of 37% over the same period in 2022, and profit attributable to equity holders of approximately HK$39.59,000 (loss attributable to equity holders for the same period last year: approximately HK$232 million), with a basic profit of 5.45 HK cents per share.

The Group's performance turned a loss into a profit, mainly based on, among other factors: 1. The Group's “Associated Properties” and “Hong Kong Real Estate” recorded operating profit during this period, while the same period in 2022 recorded operating losses. These improvements are due to (i) the Group's rising market share in Hong Kong; and (ii) successfully grasping the rebound in the Hong Kong residential property market; and 2. While committed to streamlining business in Hong Kong and the Mainland, the Group is also able to maintain the competitiveness of the local frontline.
