According to Zhitong Financial App, Xu Fu Lou Group (01978) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2023, with revenue of HK$661 million, up 65.12% year on year; total profit and overall earnings due to shareholders of HK$47.55 million, up 600.5% year on year; profit of 5.94 HK cents per share; proposed interim dividend of HK4.75 cents per share and special dividend of HK$12.5 per share.

According to reports, the increase in profit was mainly due to the fact that there was no outbreak of the fifth wave of COVID-19 in Hong Kong, China during this period, so the negative impact on the Group's business disappeared. Since social distancing measures were relaxed at the end of April 2022, the group's restaurants have gradually resumed business, and turnover has quickly rebounded since then.
