According to the news, Asia Pacific Satellite announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$420 million, a year-on-year decrease of 15.79%; profit attributable to shareholders of HK$118 million, a year-on-year decrease of 11.94%; profit of HK$12.69 per share, with an interim dividend of 5 HK cents per share. The announcement stated that the main reason for the decrease in revenue was due to a decrease in revenue from providing satellite transponder capacity during the period.
