According to the Zhitong Finance App, Vanke Overseas (01036) announced that it is expected that the Group will obtain a profit attributable to shareholders of about HK$3 million in the six months ending June 30, 2023, while the Group's unaudited comprehensive management accounts for the same period in 2022 will obtain a profit attributable to shareholders of about HK$83 million.

According to the announcement, the decrease in profit attributable to shareholders during this period was mainly due to the fact that one of the group's associated companies held investment properties in California, USA. Affected by local market factors, the fair value obtained during this period decreased, which increased the losses due to the joint venture company by about HK$130 million during this period. However, the Group's investment property, Regent Centre, which holds investment properties located in Hong Kong, obtained fair value income of about HK$74 million during this period. Combined with the above factors, profit attributable to shareholders declined during the Group period.
