Gelonghui August 8th 丨Pacific Bar (08432.HK) announced that in the first quarter of the three months ending June 30, 2023, revenue from operating restaurants and bars during this period was HK$51.4 million, compared to HK$22.4 million, an increase of about 129.5% over the same period last year. The increase in related earnings was mainly due to the HKSAR Government's order to force the closure of all bars and pubs on May 18, 2022, which ended during this period, so it was possible to resume business from May 19, 2022, plus the impact of the Group's business expansion during this period. The gross profit of operating restaurants and bars during this period was HK$38 million, up 126.2% from HK$16.8 million in the previous period. The gross margin for this period was 73.9% (previous period: 75.0%), which is at a stable level. Profit for the period was HK$1.02 million, loss of HK$1.85 million for the same period last year, and basic and diluted profit of HK$0.12 cents per share.
