According to the Zhitong Finance App, ASX Backup (08290) released interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2023. The group achieved HK$21.156 million during the period, a decrease of 7.85%; shareholders should have a profit of HK$2,057 million; shareholders should account for a loss of HK$1.085 million in the same period last year; turning a loss into a profit; basic profit of 0.1 Hong Kong cents per share.

According to the announcement, the decline in revenue was mainly due to the decline in revenue from the Group's online backup business due to the overall weakness of the global economy; slow recovery in business demand; changes in customer types due to reduced batch purchases; and intense competition in the global online backup software market, which was partly offset by increased revenue due to increased orders from the Group's information platform.
