According to the Zhitong Finance App, Bank of China International Holdings (00668) announced that the Group expects revenue of not less than HK$33 million in the six months ending June 30, 2023, compared to HK$61 million in the same period last year. It is expected that for the six months ending June 30, 2023, the Group's profit for the period will be no less than HK$10 million, compared to HK$14 million for the same period last year.

The announcement stated that the decline in revenue was mainly due to a decrease in sales of flowers and plants. Compared with the same period last year, all other major businesses of the Group were operating steadily. The decline in profit during the period was mainly due to fair value losses generated by financial assets recorded at fair value for profit and loss.
