富途 ·  Oct 12, 2016 12:26

Anyone who has invested in Hong Kong stocks knows that the real-time in-depth quotes provided by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange require payment before they can be used. Currently, if you want to use SIPG Level 2 (hereinafter referred to as “LV2”) real-time quotes in the mainland, it will cost about HK$200 a month.

This time, after approval from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Futu Securities, the leader of Hong Kong and US stock internet brokerage firms, announced that it will open real-time LV2 quotes for Hong Kong stocks free of charge to all mainland investors, pioneering the industry for the first time. As the countdown to the opening of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect comes, many shareholders are eager to try undervalued blue chips. This move has undoubtedly opened a convenient door for mainland investors to participate in the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect.

During the event period, onlyClick to go to the “National Hong Kong Stock LV2” official event, you can receive LV2 real-time quotes on Hong Kong stocks for half a year for free!

Level 2: Trading Skills 1: Trading ten levels allows you to take a deeper look

In most A-share market software, the real-time quotes that investors can see are buy one to buy five, sell one to sell five, and sell one to sell five. We are commonly known as “five levels of real-time quotes”, such as Vanke A in the figure below. In the LV2 real-time quotes provided free of charge by Futu Securities, investors can see “ten levels of quotes”, such as the Vanke enterprise pictured below.

In the actual market of A-shares, for different trading purposes, many institutional investors and large capital investors often ambush “explosives packages” (large purchases or large sales) in advance in addition to the prices of buying five and selling five. When the time is ripe, they use the chips in their hands to push the stock price to the “explosives package” price. According to the principle of “prioritizing entrustment time”, investors can detect “explosives packages” that institutions have ambushed in advance and make decisions to withdraw or enter as soon as possible.

Level 2: Trading Skills 2: Transaction Details Let You See More Clearly

In the Hong Kong stock LV2 real-time quotes, transaction information will be presented one by one, including three types of information:

column 1 - transaction time;

column 2 - transaction price;

The third column - trading volume (unit: shares), such as 11k, represents 11,000 shares.

Also, there are some special symbols to know.

↑ -- In external trading, actively buy stocks at a price of one or more;

↓--- Internal trading, actively selling stocks at a price of one or less;

◆——Neutral price, which combines the price of buying one with the price of selling one.

Looking at combined trading volume, if it is continuous ↑, it indicates a strong willingness to buy, and the stock price shows an upward trend; if it is a continuous ↓, it indicates a strong desire to sell, and the stock price shows a downward trend.

For example, in the market trend of these two energy stocks on September 2 below, Ruifeng New Energy bought strongly when the market closed. At the end of the session, most of them took the initiative to pay, and the stock price swayed straight up; on the other hand, United Energy Group's stock price showed weak performance. Both were actively sold and traded, so the stock price fell sharply.

Another situation is that in some stocks that are not actively traded, if large amounts of neutral trading occur continuously for a certain period of time ◆, investors should pay close attention. Many times, in order to increase the trading volume of an individual stock and attract the attention of retail investors, bookmakers use their different accounts to counter each other.

Level 2: Trading Skills 3: Support and resistance allow you to see more accurately

Support and resistance levels are words often heard by stock traders. Investors from many institutions will figure out the trend of the main capital from the K line and changes in trading volume, and then analyze the support level and resistance level of an individual stock. In the LV2 real-time market, since there are ten levels of market prices, it also provides a convenient way for ordinary investors to estimate the support and resistance levels of the main forces in the intraday market, making it easier for investors to detect market pressure and support.

Take China's public procurement stock as an example. Before the market closed on September 2, a large number of purchases were piled up between buying one and five. The main force seemed to be strongly protecting the “support level” trend of HK$0.08, while selling between selling one and five, there were basically no large pending orders. If it were to “trade the five tier market,” this was entirely a rhythm where the main force was actively attracting capital and preparing to make an offensive move forward.

However, in the “ten levels of real-time quotes,” we can see that market information shows that the main players have set up their pockets in advance in the range of selling six to ten. Large sales orders are waiting for investors to “get caught”. HK$0.09 is a short-term resistance level.

Level 2: Trading Skills 4: The Broker Queue Makes You See More Clear

Hong Kong stocks are quite special, showing not only the brokerage code but also the name of the broker. Take Jinshan Software in the following article as an example. Brokers that buy -1 or more are in the buying position; brokers that sell +1 or more are in the selling position, and so on.

From the brokerage queue of the trading order, you can roughly determine where your pending order is located. Also, some stocks or banks have only one or two trading brokers, and they are still the same, so you may encounter market control situations, so you need to be extra careful.

For ordinary investors in mainland China, Futu Securities is introducing free LV2 real-time quotes for the first time in the industry. This is Futu Securities's exclusive offer for mainland investors. At a time when the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express is about to be launched, this plan was launched in the hope of helping investors prepare for the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect.
