According to the Zhitong Finance App, Zhaobang Kai Properties (01660) reported results for the year ended March 31, 2023, with revenue of HK$258 million, a year-on-year decrease of 5%; company owners owe a loss of HK$409.85 million; profit of HK$379.87 million for the same period last year; a basic loss of HK$0.66 per share.

The decrease in total earnings during the period was mainly due to the slump in the construction market conditions in Hong Kong and mainland China this year, preferential property management fees for tenants during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a decrease in construction machinery leasing revenue. This decrease was partially offset by the increase in earnings brought about by the integration of the retail business in mainland China throughout the year into the Group's financial results for the year.
