1. Meituan-W: $2,065 million to acquire all equity interests other than Lightyear

$MEITUAN-W (03690.HK)$It was announced that group member Tianjin Sankuai Technology and other subsidiaries will acquire all interests other than Lightyear at a purchase price of about RMB 2,065 billion. Total costs include $234 million in cash; RMB 367 million in debt; and RMB 1.00 in cash. Lightyear Other is China's leading AGI (General Artificial Intelligence) innovator, founded and controlled by Wang Huiwen, co-founder of Meituan and former company director and affiliate. As of the date of this announcement, the total net cash position of Lightyear Outer Group is approximately US$285 million.

2. South China City announced annual results: Shareholders' net profit of HK$700 million, a year-on-year decrease of 7.9%

$CHINASOUTHCITY (01668.HK)$Results for the year ended March 31, 2023 were announced. Revenue from continuing operations was HK$4,052 billion, a decrease of 57.9%; net profit attributable to owners of the parent company was HK$700 million, a decrease of 7.9%; and profit per share of HK$6.34 cents.

3. Gary Pharmaceutical-B: Plans to repurchase shares of up to HK$200 million

$ASCLETIS-B (01672.HK)$It was announced that on June 29, 2023, the board of directors has decided to exercise the repurchase authorization and buy back shares from time to time on the open market according to market conditions to recommend share repurchases using up to HK$200 million.

4. Tencent Holdings: On June 29, it cost HK$401 million to buy back 1.2 million shares
