The application of Massive MIMO technology and active antenna promotes the rise of volume and price in the filter industry. In terms of quantity, the number of channels of RF units, from the traditional two to four, will grow to 64 in the 5G era, which will be an order of magnitude increase. At present, the schemes adopted by the mainstream 5G Massive MIMO base stations require 64-channel filters. In order to improve the system capacity and meet the needs of multiple application scenarios, higher frequency band communication will be used in the 5G era. The higher the frequency band, the smaller the coverage radius. from the point of view of continuous coverage, the number of base stations in 5G may be 1.5-2 times that of 4G. It is estimated that the global number of 4G base stations may reach 7 million in the future, while the number of 5G base stations is expected to reach 14 million. According to the calculation of filter demand, if calculated at the price of 50 yuan per channel, the market size will be as high as more than 100 billion yuan, the corresponding annual peak purchase amount may be as high as 20 billion yuan, and the normal annual purchase amount in 4G period is less than 10 billion yuan. Recently, the winning result of China Unicom wireless network integration project has been announced, with a total budget of about 34.8 billion yuan, procurement of L900 and L1800 base station 416000 stations, L1800 integration, software functions and so on. In terms of structure and filter ratio, a 5G base station is calculated according to 3 sectors, which requires 192 filters and 3 large structure modules. A: for the time being, we can't tell whether the filter orders we got from Huawei, Ericsson and Nokia come from this Unicom collection. In terms of share, according to industry news, Huawei accounts for more than 50% of China Unicom. A: because the dielectric waveguide filter is a new product different from the metal cavity filter in manufacturing, it needs corresponding new production capacity investment. Q: what is the market demand for capacity?
