Company introduction

International Home Retail is a household retail chain operating in Hong Kong, Singapore, Western Malaysia, mainland China and Macau, with Hong Kong as its main source of income. As of the last practicable date, the company has 293 stores in Hong Kong, Singapore, the western part of Malaysia, mainland China and Macau, and 10 specialty stores operated by the company's service partners in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Cambodia. The company's stores and specialty stores are based on Japanese cities, Life proposals, Stationery Generation, Japanese Home and Pan American brands. According to Frost Sullivan's report, the company accounted for about 49.0% and 10.4% of the market share in Hong Kong and Singapore respectively in 2012, and accounted for about 69% and 75% of the market share in Hong Kong and Singapore respectively in the same period.

For the three years ended April 30, 2013, the company recorded revenues of HK $10.176 million, HK $12.112 million and HK $14,987 million respectively, and share profits of approximately HK $6.21 million, HK $854 million and HK $10.15 million respectively.
