DJ Mimecast 4Q Earnings Miss Analysts' Estimates >MIME

Mimecast Ltd. (MIME) on Monday reported fourth-quarter earnings that came up short of analysts' estimates.

The cybersecurity and compliance firm posted a quarterly loss of $1.9 million, or 3 cents a share. Analysts polled by FactSet expected profit of a penny a share.

On an adjusted basis, Mimecast reported net income of $4.6 million, or 7 cents a share. Analysts were targeting adjusted profit $5.2 million, or 8 cents a share, per FactSet.

Revenue came to $92.2 million, Mimecast said, topping the $91.3 million analysts were expecting.

The company reported 4,000 net new customers in 2019, and 34,000 total customers globally.

Mimecast said it was expecting first-quarter 2020 revenue to be in a range between $96.7 million and $97.7 million. For the full fiscal year 2020, Mimecast sees revenue coming in a range between $413 million and $427 million.
