智通财经APP讯，新威工程集团(08616)公布，该集团预期截至2023年3月31日止年度取得纯利约500万港元，而2022年同期取得纯利约1090万港元。
公告称，纯利减少主要归因于以下的综合影响：于2023财年的毛利较2022年同期减少约8%，此乃由于集团项目的材料成本及直接员工成本增加所致;于2023财年，2019年新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情在全球蔓延造成负面影响，导致香港及澳门若干建筑项目延期及╱或放缓;及员工成本增加导致行政开支增加以及新购入的物业及设备的折旧开支增加。
