Gelonghui 6/12 丨Huankang Group (08169.HK) announced that for the six months ended April 30, 2023, revenue was HK$45,143 million, a decrease of approximately 9% over the same period. Profit attributable to company owners was HK$2.04,000, a decrease of approximately 35% over the same period. Basic earnings per share were around HK0.31 cents.

This decrease in revenue is due to the fact that the revenue from the environmental products business fell 23% from HK$32.618 million in the previous period to HK$25.141,000 in the previous period, while the revenue from the water plant business increased 17% from HK$17.122 million in the previous period to HK$20.02 million during the period. The reason is that the Group's water plants have begun supplying processed tap water to the suburbs near Beijing-Tianjin New Town in Baodi District of Tianjin City to replace the use of groundwater.
