Gronhuis May 24 | Belgian company Aliaxis's active bid for Finland's UPNRF.US (UPNRF.US) attracted the attention of potential bidders around the world. Water management group Aliaxis made an all-cash purchase offer worth 1.87 billion euros to plumbing system manufacturer Obono on Monday, up 3% from last month's initial price. Both offers were declined by Obono. Obono board member Hans Sohlstrom said Aliaxis' bid had already attracted widespread attention. According to sources, Swiss industrial group Georg Fischer is also discussing potential offers for Aubonneau.
