According to the Zhitong Finance App, REPUBLIC HC (08357) announced that on June 8, 2022, the company announced and decided to launch pepper trading business (as an additional main business), with a maximum annual transaction volume of HK$14 million.

Since then, the company has successively entered into the first pepper transaction and the second pepper transaction. The relevant transactions were completed within 12 months, with a total transaction amount of US$378,000 (equivalent to HK$2,948,400).
