According to reports, the Macau Gaming Supervision and Coordination Bureau announced Lucky Gaming revenue of 34.642 billion patacas for the first quarter of this year (same below), up nearly 95% year-on-year from 17.774 billion yuan in the first quarter of 2022, and recovered to over 45% of 76.152 billion yuan in the first quarter of 2019. The “Macau Daily” reports that Macau's mid-game gambling revenue in the first quarter of this year was 26.077 billion yuan, an increase of 101.6% year-on-year, accounting for 75.3% of total gambling revenue.
According to the HSBC Research Report, when the gambling revenue forecast for the first quarter of Macau this year was raised, it is expected that mid-field gambling revenue will reach about 70% of the first quarter of 2019, which was originally expected to be 45%; the gambling revenue forecast for the next quarter increased slightly by 6% to reflect favorable factors for the Golden Week holiday in May. Citi, on the other hand, said that steady gambling revenue will continue to be supported by suppressed demand, and it is expected that this positive gambling trend will continue in the short term. Macau's April gambling revenue forecast of 12 billion yuan remained unchanged.
