The financial community reported on April 12 that Xiaopeng Motor released its 2022 ESG report.

In terms of environmental protection, in 2022, Xiaopeng Motor carried out an end-to-end carbon inventory of the entire value chain and set up a carbon emission estimation system. Carbon emissions reduction increased dramatically over the same period last year, accelerating the transition to sustainable energy.

The report shows that in 2022, the full life cycle of electric vehicles delivered by Xiaopeng Motor reduced carbon emissions by 1.72 million tons (compared to traditional gasoline vehicles). About 95.56 million trees were planted to help the Earth maintain oxygen balance; the charging capacity of users reached 322,602875.63 kilowatt-hours, reducing carbon emissions by about 577,200 tons. Travel and charging reduced the burden on the Earth; continuing to promote the use of clean energy, the factory's photovoltaic power generation reduced carbon emissions by a total of 14,188 tons. The Zhaoqing base was awarded the title of “Green Factory” by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; 100% of the aluminum plate stamping edge from the factory's original production line was recycled and reapplied through a series of processes to allow “automobiles to create new cars”.

In terms of social responsibility, in 2022, Xiaopeng Motor will continue to contribute to society through the Xiaopeng Charity Foundation through the Xiaopeng Charity Foundation by carrying out public welfare activities such as ecological environment education, protecting the ecological environment, promoting employment for people with disabilities, and rebuilding communities after the disaster. In 2022, Xiaopeng Motor donated 5 million yuan to the Xiaopeng Charity Foundation, donating a total of 7 million yuan to support charity activities; the Xiaopeng Volunteer Service Corps served 1,000 people; and the total service time of the Xiaopeng Volunteer Service Corps was 5,355.13 hours.

In terms of corporate governance, the 2022 ESG Leadership Group was upgraded to the ESG Committee to form a three-level sustainable development governance structure, and the Carbon Neutrality Project Working Group was upgraded to a Carbon Neutrality Working Group to strengthen the company's carbon management and accelerate the dual carbon transformation.

In 2022, Xiaopeng Motor's MSCI ESG was rated AA as the highest in the world, and DJSI ESG scored 49 points. The score was 48% higher than previous years, which is at the leading level of Chinese car companies.
