According to the Zhitong Finance App, Hongcheng Environmental Technology (02265) announced its 2022 annual results, with total revenue of about 223 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of about 13.3%; net profit of about 80.2 million yuan, a decrease of about 6.3% over the previous year; and a basic profit of about 0.08 yuan per share.

According to reports, the decline in revenue is mainly due to the decrease in revenue from sales of recycled products and hazardous waste treatment services in gold mines by 9.7% and 20.9%, respectively, compared to last year. Since the market price of sulphur concentrate in 2022 remained high compared to last year, the company's downstream customers were more conservative when purchasing sulfur concentrates, which led to a decline in sulphur concentrate sales in 2022. The processing volume and average treatment fee of gold mine hazardous waste treatment services in 2022 decreased compared to 2021. This decrease is due to fewer cyanide tailings provided by upstream customers.
