Gelonghui March 19 丨Huarong Financial Holdings (00993.HK) announced that the Group is expected to record a net loss of between HK$2.10 billion and HK$2.35 billion in 2022, while the net loss for 2021 is approximately HK$1.6 billion. The increase in net loss in 2022 compared to 2021 was mainly due to: (1) the Group's continued pressure on risky assets, and the decline in asset size led to a relative decrease in related interest income; (2) the value of assets or collateral for some of the Group's investment projects continued to depreciate due to many adverse factors such as the tightening of global monetary policies, geopolitics, and the continuation of the pandemic, which led to losses due to the Group's investments in other loans and debt instruments, margin financing advances to customers, financial leases receivable, financial leases receivable, and impairment provisions for accounts receivable in the second half of the year; and (3) the sale of some of the financial assets in the second half of the year .
