3月2日，香港宽频披露称，I Squared Asia Advisors Pte Ltd．有意与本公司进行一项涉及可能提出要约的交易，预期可能通过环球全域电讯（HGC环电）或其联属公司（潜在要约人）完成该交易。目前，公司未与潜在要约人达成任何协议。2月28日，市场消息曾指，香港宽频收到HGC环电超过10亿美元的收购要约。
