Gelonghui March 12th 丨Seiko Steel (600496.SH) announced that its subsidiary Seiko Construction Systems Group Co., Ltd. (“Seiko Industries”) and Hubei Minshi Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (“Minshi Group”), a subsidiary of Minshi Group Co., Ltd. (“Minshi Group”), a subsidiary of Minshi Group Co., Ltd. (“Minshi Group”), have recently signed the “Minshi Group Xianning Base Photovoltaic Power Generation Project Cooperation Agreement”. The two sides intend to cooperate in distributed roof photovoltaics and contract energy management.

According to the agreement, Minshi Company will provide more than 120,000 square meters of factory roof for the construction of the roof power plant, while the company will be responsible for importing investors and implementing the review, construction, and grid connection of distributed photovoltaic power plant projects. After the power station is completed, electricity will first be provided to Minshi companies at preferential prices, and the remaining electricity will be sold to local power grid companies or other electricity consumers. The estimated installation scale of the project is 12.5 MW, with an investment amount of about 60 million yuan.

Minshi Group is one of the world's top 100 auto parts companies and has also been the company's customer for many years. The company has been providing them with steel structure plant construction services since 2012. This cooperation is the first time that the company has provided green energy services to Minshi Group to help the enterprise build a green smart factory. It not only leverages the company's comprehensive expertise in steel structures, roofing, BIPV, etc., but can also better serve high-end customers and enhance the company's competitiveness in the high-end market.
