The company's total revenue was RMB 76.071 million, up 7.30% year on year; profit attributable to the company's shareholders during the period was RMB 4,514 million, a decrease of 50.49% over the previous year; basic earnings per share were RMB 2.84 cents.

Overall gross profit increased by about 0.5% from about RMB 33.7 million for the twelve months ended 31 December 2021 to about RMB 33.9 million during the reporting period, while overall gross margin decreased from about 47.6% for the twelve months ended 31 December 2021 to about 44.6% during the reporting period. The overall decline in gross margin was mainly due to the following combined effects: (i) a decrease in gross margin in the bentonite mining business and (ii) an increase in gross margin in the financial services business.
